All of the new... | By Milabu | - New makeup worth trying. There are so many new launches lately, and we got a lot of goodies. (bag crackling) I also have one PR product that we're gonna try for our lips, but I'm excited. All of this makeup is already really highly rated, phenomenal results, phenomenal claims from, you know, what I'm seeing, but let's test it out together. Let's begin with this newest product from Huda Beauty. This is the Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Color Corrector. I am a huge, huge fan of her FauxFilter Concealer. It's one of the best concealers if you like a soft matte finish, a full coverage, and it's almost crease proof. Let's be honest. Everything will crease because it's our face. We are human. This, right here, is kind of like a play on that, and it's supposed to color correct your under eyes. And I was reading, you're supposed to apply it right after your skincare, before any makeup, and then you can go with your makeup on top. This Pink Pomelo has a nice salmon undertone Let’s blend this out. It blends in really nice. The formula is extremely lightweight. and it looks very natural. Wow! The right side, it's a little more even-toned. The discoloration is color corrected. Looks really good, and it looks very smooth under my eyes, whereas, on the left side, you can see there's a lot of color discoloration especially right here in the inner corner, a little bit on the corner. I have color discoloration right here. We have some new brow products from ILIA and Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. So let's go with Rare Beauty first. This is their Brow Harmony Precision Pencil, and I picked up shade Rich Taupe. Think I wanna go lighter on the brows today. Ooh. This has a nice feel to it. It's heavy weight. A retractable waterproof brow pencil with an ultra fine angle tip to create precise hair-like strokes for natural-looking definition. And then the other brow pencil is from ILIA, and this is their In Full Micro-Tip Brow Pencil with Provitamin B5. It's a foolproof formula. Has a spoolie on one side. And I also picked up, I think, Taupe, I believe. Let me see. Yep, picked up Taupe. Let's see if they're similar enough. It looks like ILIA is a little cooler-toned. versus Rare Beauty It's warmer. It's richer. I'm not gonna apply anything into my eyebrows beforehand. Just going to fill them in. Personally, I like the color of ILIA brow pencil better. I think it's a truer taupe versus the Rare Beauty. It's pulling a little warmer than I want, but formula-wise, I can see why they're calling the ILIA a beginner-friendly formula. It's not very pigmented. It's very easy to use. It's waxier, so it sticks to your hairs really well. But the Rare Beauty, it's extremely pigmented. It definitely has a precise tip in comparison to the ILIA. So you can create a little more hair-like strokes with the Rare Beauty. But I'm not a fan of the color of the Rich Taupe of Rare Beauty. Both apply very easy. It is just you have to have a lighter hand with the Rare Beauty. All right. I'm gonna quickly set. I also have a new product from ILIA. It's the In Frame Brow Gel. Oh, it's a medium-hold brow gel that adds shape and structure with a natural finish without flaking for a full defined look. Gently run this through. It's kinda like a typical brow gel. It's clear. It's a little wet. But hopefully the brows set. It's not applying too much product. But usually with these, you have to kind of test them throughout the day to see how well they're gonna hold the hairs. Next makeup that is worth looking into. Let's see. Let's see if it is, 'cause these are rated ridiculously high. (laughs) This is the new Rare Beauty Eyeshadow Sticks. I picked up two shades. It's a do-it-all eyeshadow stick that makes it easy to line, shade, smoke out, and highlight eyes. This is Well-Being. (stick snapping) Ooh. Shimmer. I think all of them are actually shimmery. Ooh! Very pigmented, whoa! And very creamy. All right. Well that swatches beautifully. But, again, it depends on how they apply to the eyes. And then the next shade is called Compassion. Kinda like a burnt cinnamon. So, online, it's saying it's a water-resistant gel formula for fadeproof wear all day. Just, gonna, if we could see how to use, if they recommend to use an eyeshadow primer. I'm not seeing eyeshadow primer. But we're gonna test it out with an eyeshadow primer and see which side does better. Let's do the right side with eyeshadow primer, left side without. I'm gonna go in with the shade Compassion. Right here. Kinda line. And then go into the crease. Like that. I'm gonna use her brush actually, the eyeshadow brush. Oh. It's having a hard time blending. What is happening? Wow. I have to be very forceful with this. Did it set? Whoa. - [Andrey] Too quick. - And this is without the primer. Why am I having a hard time with this? I have to like almost wipe it off 'cause it's not blending. That was the weirdest thing ever. Add more, and go in right away… Wow. This is not blending. I think these will probably be great for like eyeliners, but, wow, I'm having like a really hard time blending this in. That's gonna do. I'm gonna go with Well-Being from like the inner corner into the center. I do like how sharp they are though. So you can be pretty precise with where you place them. Just to soften that edge so it's not super harsh. Go on the primer side. Wow. Primer is even worse. Oh my goodness. Wow. This is a fail on my eyelids. I gotta take off that primer. It's making it worse. Honestly, I don't know. I don't know if I got duds, or what, but these are not blendable. They're... (sighs) This is good as the eyes are gonna get. I also picked up an eyeliner from her also from this new launch, and I'm hoping, yes, I'm hoping it's better. So this is the Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Longwear Gel Eyeliner in True Brown. It is a high-pigment waterproof gel pencil with a built-in sharpener. Can never go wrong with a True Brown. I mean that is very creamy and very cool toned. So let's apply some. Let's smoke out. Not really smoke out. Let's just give it a little wing to kind of tie all of this together because I'm not happy with the eyeshadow. I also don't know how I feel about this pencil. I don't know if it's because it's on top of those eyeshadow sticks. It's way too waxy. It kind of tugs on your eyelids. But I do like that it's pigmented, and it sets extremely fast. So I don't like that. You have to work very quick with it. And then, once it sets, it like sets. It doesn't want to go anywhere. That's a good thing. Hopefully you get it right the first time around. (laughs) We have a new mascara, and this one is from Huda Beauty. This is the 1 Coat Wow! After just one coat, 98% saw instant curl and lifted lashes. Whoa. The formula is a lot stickier than I thought. I'm trying to do very light, just kind of comb through right here. I'm impressed that this is just one coat. I like that it's a very black formula. It provides that volume right away. It definitely lifted and curled my lashes, but it's not elongating my lashes. It's not a very defining and lengthening type of a formula. But if you want the volume, that curl and the lift right away? Yes. This is it. Next new makeup that might be worth looking into is a new skin tint from Hourglass. This is their Veil Hydrating Skin Tint. So this new Hourglass skin tint is supposed to provide moisture levels for a dewy glow with a sheer wash of coverage for comfortable all-day wear. And I did wanna use a primer with this, half of the face, to see, you know, if it's going to help with longevity. I'm going to use the Hourglass, the Vanish Airbrush Primer. I'm gonna take some on the back of my hand. Not sure how much I need, but we'll take that much. This texture is really, really nice. It has more of that gel texture to it. It's not really whipped. Again, this is sheer, so let's start with that much. No scent also. Very easy to blend. I like it on top of the primer a lot. I think it provided a little bit more coverage 'cause it's sticking to the primer, and it looks very, very smooth on the skin but still gives that really nice glow. Versus the non-primer side. The coverage is not as even. Take that off. Work it a little bit more on this side just to even out the coverage. Next new makeup that could be worth looking into is a new concealer from Make Up For Ever. This is the HD Skin. Smooth and blur undetectable under-eye concealer. (laughs) If it's medium coverage, let's start with that much. I'm gonna use my brush, the same brush, to blend out the Rare Beauty. We'll make sure we really blend this into the skin. Taking my time. That actual looks really good. The finish of the concealer is natural. I like that it doesn't look very heavy under your eyes, as of right now! It's not accentuating any fine lines. It looks really nice. I like this concealer so far. We have a new Artist Sculpt powder from Make Up For Ever. I got Shade S430 Marvelous Peanut. I like the packaging. Very classic. Almost old school. I'm gonna take the Sephora #79 Pro Contour Brush. So gently start swirling. I mean, that's pretty pigmented. It's providing that shadow. That was very easy. I think the contra powder applied really well. It's a very, very buttery, smooth formula and texture, a dream to work with, but I think it applied better on side with the primer because a little softer. Okay, let's move on to a new blush that might be worth looking into. This is from Summer Fridays, and this is their Blush Balm Stick. And I picked up shade Pink Skies. It's supposed to be a sheer wash of color, and I'm gonna take a brush, My Rare Beauty, the Soft Pinch Blush Brush. That's a really pretty color. I'm gonna work this into my brush and go to my cheeks. Let's go with the primer side first. Ah, it's actually really, really good color payoff for a sheer formula. I'm having no issues applying this Blush Balm Stick. I like that a lot. I'm just gonna go back to my foundation brush and just soften the edges right here and right here. So this was sent to me in the PR from Credo Beauty, and these are new lip liners from Exa. They're called All Smiles Bare Lip Liners. 16 US dollars. This is a waterproof vegan lip liner formula that delivers a silky hydration in a smooth matte finish. Let's do Love first. Next we have Dreams. Oh yeah. That's really pretty. And then we have Soul. Little lighter. Oh! That one's actually really pretty too. Oh boy! Formula feels really nice and creamy. Let's actually a look at the lipstick that I purchased, 'cause I got one shade. This is a new lipstick from Lawless, and this is the Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Satin Cream Lipstick. Mmm. And I picked up shade Daisy Girl. Oh, that's a pretty shade. Honestly, it'll fit any lip liner. (laughs) Let's go with in shade Soul. Yeah, see? It's a little bit too light. Let's go with this one, which is Love. No. This one is Strength. Oh, these are creamy and pigmented. A nice satin lipstick. Not feeling that plumping formula yet. Think I need a little bit of (laughs) Love to outline 'cause this color lipstick is a little too light. Okay. That lip liner color, Love, did a great job. I'm feeling a little bit of like a cooling minty sensation on my lips, but it's not uncomfortable. It doesn't hurt. It's not like a spicy plumping sensation. It's more of a cooling minty sensation. Interesting. Interesting. Okay. Makeup is done. I don't have a new setting powder, but if I get a little too glowy, I'll do the check-in, and then I will either blot my face, get rid of some of the excess oil, or maybe even add a little bit of powder. But I'll keep you guys updated. This is what we're looking like five hours later. Lip liner is still on, but the lipstick is pretty much gone. I was eating, and the lipstick, it comes off. It's a satin cream formula. I never felt that plumping effect after that first time I mentioned at the end that I felt a minty sensation. I think that minty sensation lasted maybe five minutes total, if that, but I didn't feel any kind of plumping effect. Let's look at the skin. I am looking a little glowy and feeling a little glowy. So I'm probably just gonna take like a toilet paper and split the toilet paper in half, like a little sheet, and just blot my skin. That way I'm not adding powder. I'm still liking the primer side. I think everything just looks better. Moving on to eyes. Mascara is transferring on both sides, but it's not bad, honestly. It might just be transferring because I didn't set the concealer. I think the eyelashes still look really pretty. They're still lifted. They're still curled. Now moving on to the eyeshadow. It's already creasing. You can see right there the lines and the, yeah, both colors are creasing on both eyes. The eyeliner, it's kind of staying put, but I'm seeing, still, little dots. Let me see if I can show you right there. See? It's just active, like tiny little brown dots all over my skin. I still see the contour. Think it's doing a great job. The blush is still looking really beautiful. It's looking very natural. The texture is not getting enhanced. The concealer is looking really good actually. Really like the way the concealer is looking as well. Eyebrows? I think still look the exact same as how I applied them. I like it, but you can see the color difference right here. The Rare Beauty, it's a little warmer, and it's a little more intense versus the ILIA. It's subtle, and it's cooler tone. I prefer the ILIA brow pencil. All right. So we are 14 hours later. So let's break this down. Obviously mascara. We are smudging a lot, especially right here under the eyes. Eyeshadow. It has creased pretty bad. It does not look good, and I'm also seeing a little bit of the eyeliner disappearing around the corner right here. Today, it was a high of 95, and it was very muggy. I wanna say most of the foundation is gone from the forehead. Most of the foundation is gone on my chin. It's gone on my nose, around my mouth. A lot of it has left right here, but there's still a good amount on my cheeks and my chin, my jaw area right here where I have the primer. On the non-primer side, I want to say a lot of the foundation is gone. It's disappeared. I still see the blush. It's not as intense as it was when we started. Eyebrows are still there. Pretty impressed with the eyebrows actually. Honestly, most of this makeup I enjoyed. I enjoyed the concealer. I enjoyed the skin tint. Out of the brow pencils, if we're talking about colors and if you like a taupe color, I would lean towards ILIA. ILIA, it's definitely beginner friendly, where it's not going to give you that punch. You kind of have to draw a little more, but I did enjoy the ILIA pencil, eyebrow pencil, and the ILIA gel. I think it's very natural, and I like how it complements my eyebrow color. Now moving on to that blush. It's also worth looking into. I think that formula is also so stunning and so easy to work with. Very foolproof. Contour powder from Make Up For Ever. The formula is very buttery. It's very soft. It is pretty pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way, and I like that the contour shade, especially the one that I picked, it's a true contour, where it's going to give you that shadow. I appreciate that. Eyeshadows and the eyeliner from Rare Beauty, not impressed with this formula whatsoever, but I'm gonna leave it here.
