Bedruthan Steps this week (19th Apr 2017). The rock stacks are said to be the stepping stones for a giant named Bedruthan... but that was a story made up for Victorian tourists! The name actually comes from a set of cliff steps to Carnewas mine coming from Bedruthan Farm. The name Bedruthan comes from the Cornish for "Red Dwelling". One of the cliffs here is still known as "Red Cliff".
Trevone to Padstow
