a tuturor aparatelor i sistemelor.
respiratorie. Testul de ase minute s-a efectuat tuturor bolnavilor evaluai nainte i dup ncetarea programului
SaO2, i scorul de dispnee BORG i MRC.
asociat.
ABSTRACT
Six minute walking test is a simple test that measures the distance walked by a patient in six minutes. The six
minute walking test is a functional evaluation tool of all organs and systems. It can be used for initial evaluation,
for the appreciation of respiratory rehabilitation programs and other medical interventions. We studied 25 patients
from Clinical Hospital Victor Babes Craiova in the year 2011, patients that were included in a respiratory
rehabilitation program. Each patient had the test before and after the rehabilitation program and an improvement
of 54 m is clinically significant in improving the quality of life. Each patient had its own file for the test in which dates
like blood pressure, SaO2, dyspnoea scores BORG and MRC were recorded. The same sorts of dates were
recorded at the end of respiratory program. The respiratory rehabilitation program increased the test with 54 m
especially for the patients age 50-59. Patients age over 70 had an important improvement during the test after the
respiratory program but osteoporosis decreased the distance improvement. Age and co morbidities are important
factors that influence the six minute walking test.
Key words: six minute walking test, respiratory rehabilitation, evaluation, quality of life

vrste ntre 50-74 de ani, iar majoritatea proveneau
din mediul urban (17 din 25). (Tabelul 1)

n timpul testului pacientul s-a purtat pulsoximetru
pentru montorizarea saturaiei n oxigen. Bolnavului
i-a fost explicat fiecare etap a testului. Apariia
oricrei dureri precordiale, vertij, saturaie sub
85%, cefalee, lipsa coordonrii micrilor i a echilibrului, accentuarea exagerat a dispneei i crampe
musculare a impus ncetarea testului.
trecerea fiecrui minut.
