Laundry Room Refresh

Tired of your laundry room? Add some color with paint and decor. Don't like your flooring, no problem just change it! We bought a house a year ago and it's an older home. There were several remodel opportunities and painting the kitchen and laundry rooms were at the top of my list. The flooring throughout the house is okay, except in the laundry room. It was hideous, so once I planned the color and decor scheme I got to work. The cabinets and door painting took me 6 hours as they needed 3 coats of paint. I used latex paint although after painting learned there is such a thing as cabinet paint and should have gone with that for sustainability. For the floors I purchased sticky tiles and just stuck over the vinyl flooring. Then purchased premixed grout and tools to fill in between and around baseboards when needed. Lastly, my husband built me a trash can bin and I painted white. The room looks and feels bigger with the white fresh look!
