The IT band can get irritated when there are weaknesses in the glutes and/or quads causing additional stress on the hip and knee joints.  ✨If you struggle with ongoing pain along the ITB and continuously rely on passive treatments such as icing and foam rolling to decrease your pain then you’re missing the MOST important piece of the puzzle…STRENGTHENING the surrounding muscle groups!🧩  ✨Here are a few of my favorite exercises I use to treat patients with ITB syndrome!  1.
