Rhys Williams

Over the past few years, I have been involved in a number of design and research projects, working with industry and academic institutions. Most recently the things that have interested me are,

- An ongoing project exploring how writing, performance, architecture and geography overlap - ynys.co ;
- The preparation of a strategic masterplan for low-income housing in the Caribbean;
- Collaborating on a data driven mapping project, unpicking the relationship between meteorology and high-finance - a project which in part is tending towards a conversation between Vienna and Frankfurt, Carnap and Marcuse;
- Helping with the set up of London's newest Architecture School - the LSA;
- And teaching a Masters unit at the Royal College of Art;

I'm interested in exploring the potential of "performance" to influence the design process, and with each new project I look to engage with some aspect of this large and exciting field.
