Nadoukká Divin
In attempt to get along with collective attraction to time I syncopate outward multiplication of rhythmic sequences. Nadoukká Divin is a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to exploring self-sufficient and neuroethical futures of human non-verbal communication through inter-mimicry of rhythm in its various carriers. Currently focusing on attentional illusions, brainwaves and heartbeat, she conducts durational self-experiments in manipulating expectations of the external world re-perceived as language and observes their effects on time and body perception, behavioral sequencing and decision-making. She facilitates non-hierarchical interweaving of scientific findings and intuitive practices into multi-trajectory inter-multiplicating streams which produce speculative scenarios. To test and analyse them, she cross-studies rhythmic qualities of perceptual apparatus according to neurophysiology and psychosomatics and amalgams translations of their sequencing in quantum thermodynamics and mathematics. In her devotion to rhythm and density, she uses ephemeral prototyping to fantasise about yet unestablished fields of personality and non-digital trans-realities design set within socially willful plasticity of perception. These aspirations derive from her artistic exercises in harmonic and cacophonic composition of motion of colour and sound frequencies within the mediums of performance, video and motion stills, aimed at investigating perception during deviant states in atypicals which in her imaginings could inform traits of future humans.
