Winner announced: July's Giveaway, Part One

Happy August, peeps!  I can't believe how fast this past month, let alone the past 7 months have gone.  As the last month lies behind us, so does part one of July's giveaway.  However, don't forget about part two of July's giveaway: the Zoo Amigurumi book.  Those of you who have entered in the Tea wallet giveaway have been automatically entered to win the Zoo Amigurumi book.  You can improve your chances by entering again thru the Zoo Amigurumi Giveaway post (giving you 2 chances for the book).

Zoo Amigurumi Book Giveaway

Woohoo, I just got this giveaway book in the mail today.

The second giveaway of July is this Zoo Amigurmi Book called, "A Zoo For You: 11 Animals to Crochet" by Cindy Harris.  This fits quite nicely to what has captured my interest this year.  I've really gotten into making amigurumis recently, and want to share that interest with you by setting up this giveaway.

This book has 11 animals of easy difficulty.  It doesn't really have many pages and images of instructions, but what it has is pretty concise.  To be truthful, I haven't yet tried making one of these animals.  Maybe I'll make it a crochet-a-long one of these days.  From what I've seen tho, the instructions are easy to read and follow.  So far my favorites and the ones that I will probably try first are the giraffe, lion, and elephant followed by the tiger and hippo ( okay, I know I just named off about half the animals in the book... but, they're so cute).  Don't forget that these would make great Christmas presents... and it's about time to start thinking about that sorta stuff.

Alright, so I think I mentioned back in March that I'd have another giveaway during the month of July.  Well, surprisingly so, July has come in a flash!  I've been thinking about what I want to give you guys for awhile now... finally decided on doing two small giveaways this month.  The first will go from July 2nd, (today) until July 31st.  The second will go from July 15th until August 15th.  I'll also be implementing the new rules for Rad Linc Craft giveaways. So, the way it's going to work is, anyone that entered in on the last giveaway (last March), will be automatically entered into this giveaway. If you enter this giveaway again, you'll have two entries.  Then if you enter the second July giveaway, you'll have two entries on that one as well.  Okie dokie? Alright, so the prize for today's giveaway...

A tea bag wallet.  :-)  You'll get the one pictured below.  See the tutorial here.  This wallet is slightly different, in that I use an elastic band that stretches around the entire wallet instead of a ribbon and button.  I find it easier to use this way.

Quick Post: Giveaway Finds

Looking thru my Google Reader this morning, I found a couple of giveaways and I wanted to share them.

The first one is from a craft blog called Chica and Jo.  If you've ever checked out the blog links that I read, you have probably noticed Chica and Jo.  These ladies have such wonderful ideas on their blog.  You should totally check them out.  They just designed a cool craft green t-shirt, and they're giving one away.  All you have to do is comment how you craft green on their blog post before April 13th.

The second one is from a book review blog that I've started following a while ago.  The blog is called Sharon's Garden of Book Reviews.  On occasion, I randomly find blogs.  Well, I ran into this one just as she was reviewing a crochet mystery series. It peaked my interest that I started reading the books and enjoyed them.  They're easy going cozy mysteries.  Before I read Sharon's Garden of Book Reviews, I have to admit that I've never even known that there was a genre called cozy mysteries.  I'm sure glad I found that little tid bit out.  I was even more thrilled when I found out about her giveaway of cozy mystery books. Rad Linc Crafts: Free Giveaway #1 - Fabric Christmas Gift Tags and Gift Card Holder

As recently promised, I'm super excited to announce my very first giveaway here at Rad Linc Crafts.  Woo hoo!  I made some of these gift tags last year and decided to make more this year.  Here's the tutorial on them. In addition to the tutorial, I just created the template for the tags that you can download here.

This year, I've decided on 4 different fabric designs.

The Giveaway is 10 of these gift tags (design of my choosing, but will be strongly swayed to the comment that you leave..  I've left them unstamped so you can add on a bit of your own touches to them.  Since, I'm in the giving mood, I'll also throw in a gift card holder (not necessarily the one pictured). I'll give them out to TWO lucky winners.
