Steven Moore
Prof. Steven Moore teaches Sustainability at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, in Canada. His international teaching includes the Bader International Study Centre, Herstmonceux Castle, U.K., and Queen’s courses in Environmental Policy in Costa Rica.
Steven also teaches three courses (Sustainability, Environmental Policy, and Ecological Economics) at the Queen’s School of Environmental Studies and has been voted Student’s Choice Professor of the Year in Environmental Studies in 2010-11 for Sustainability and in 2014-15 for Ecological Economics, and has been nominated for the W.J. Barnes Teaching Award - the Arts & Science Undergraduate
Society's Highest Tribute to an Individual for Teaching Excellence.
For Ducere Business School (www.Ducere.edu.au), he teaches in the MBA and Bachelor’s programmes at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, the University of New England, and Torrens University in Australia, where he has received the 2021 Teaching Merit Certificate.
He has run an off-the-grid organic farm on solar power, designed and built an earth-sheltered home incorporating many sustainable features and has over 100 popular publications to his credit in the fields of environment and energy.
He owns and operates Moore Partners (a 20 kW microFIT solar photovoltaic energy producer).
