While our chocolate melts in the oven, we're going to smash up some toppings. Why don't you give me a few Oreos in here? Yeah, I love Oreos. You eat them all the time? Nothing like adding chocolate to your chocolate. Now, since we're going to the beach, we have these little candy. I want to put all them on. Creatures. I have a seahorse. Right there. Ooh, where do you want to put the crab? Oh, right there. I'm going to put a shark right there. Careful, you might bite and last one, seashell. And that could go right here. Oh, why don't you grab some of our crushed up Oreos? That looks like dirt. It does look like dirt. Last but not least, we have our crushed up pretzels. This is going to add a little more salty. Maybe it's my other hand. To our sweet. Alright, I think it looks pretty good. What do you think? I think that is good. Perfect. Alright. That's a mommy. We gotta go wash our hands. Well, let's throw this in the fridge for about an hour then we're going to come back and eat it. Okay, it's been two hours and our chocolate-covered pretzels are completely done and hardened. You ready? Yeah. Lift it up and that's why we have the parchment paper. So, you ready? Look at that. This is one big chocolate-covered pretzel. Now, we gotta peel all the wax paper off. Look how cool that looks. Break it with. You want to hit it? Yeah. Ready? Put it right in the center. Every part. Get right in the center. Harder. Oh. And then now, look at this. Look. Break it up. Two sticks of butter, and then one cup of packed brown sugar. Perfect. Now, we're going to let that all melt and get it boiling. Alright, it's starting to melt. You want to just keep stirring it consistently and let it get to a boil. Alright. So, it's getting that nice boil. This is what you want it to look like. We're going to keep stirring it for a little bit longer and then it's going to go on top of those yummy pretzels. Okay. This is going to be so delicious this is a family favorite around Christmas time look at that yummy caramel yes homemade caramel the good stuff okay that looks perfect I'm going to turn off my stove and then let's go ahead bring it to those pretzels and then we're going to drizzle it on top of those pretzels just like this. It's okay if it's not perfect because it's just going to expand and become perfect in the oven. All that goodness. Perfect. Pop this in the oven. It sets at 325 and it's just going to be eight minutes in the oven. See, I told you it would expand. Now, all the pretzels are fully covered and slide it on your counter. Perfect. Now, while it's hot, you're going to want to grab some chocolate chips and use dark chocolate. You can even use white chocolate. I'm just doing the milk chocolate, semi-sweet. Just sprinkle it right on top of that caramel and that pretzels Good serving on there. Perfect. So, use about three fourths of a bag and now, we're going to go ahead and pop this back in the oven for just one minute to let those chocolate chips melt. It's in there for 1 minute. Now, go ahead and grab your spatula. I'm going to just spray it just a little bit so it doesn't get too sticky. And then we're going to spread that chocolate right over just like that. Yummy. Okay. Now, to make it extra pretty and extra festive, I'm going to grab my Christmas sprinkles. Now, this is totally optional but I want mine to be super pretty. So, just go ham with your Christmas sprinkles. I'm so excited for this. Over the whole That is so cute. Now we're going to go ahead and pop this in the fridge for 30 minutes.
