Omid Abtahi
Omid Abtahi ⓘ(nascido em 12 de julho de 1979) é um ator Iraniano-Americano.[1] Ele é mais conhecido no cinema por seus papéis em Jogos Vorazes: A Esperança - O Final e Argo. Na TV como Salim em Sleeper Cell e American Gods.

Início da vida e educação
editarAbtahi nasceu em Teerã, Irã. Aos 5 anos ele se mudou com sua família para Paris e mais tarde para os Estados Unidos, mais precisamente em Orange County, na Califórnia.
Ele graduado pela University High School, em Irvine, e frequentou o California State University, Fullerton.
Ele começou a estudar publicidade e teatro onde se formou em 2002.[2]
Carreira
editarAntes de atuar na televisão, Abtahi estreou em muitas produções teatrais, incluindo a Fraulein Else; Adoration of the Old Woman; Your Everyday Typical Romantic Comedy.
Em Los Angeles, Omid fez várias participações em Over There, 24 horas, Sleeper Cell, Ghost Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, Fringe, Homeland, Better Call Saul, Damien entre outros.
O ator também empresta sua voz ao personagem de Farid no jogo Call of Duty: Black Ops II, e Sergeant John Lugo em Spec Ops: The Line.[3]
Enquanto se preparava para o papel de Tariq Nassiri na série de TV de Over There, Abtahi aprendeu a falar francês fluentemente.
Em 2017 Omid protagonizou a cena de sexo gay mais explicita da história da TV na série American Gods ou lado de Mousa Kraish.[4][5]
