His fame rests on a promise that has led him forty years and not over turned . A promise that has transcended borders, thanks to the attention it has received from various media . The October 12, 1961 , Don Justo promised the Virgen del Pilar would build a church in her honor. But not a single parish but a temple of great proportions, a " Cathedral " . Two years after laying the foundation stone , and to the disbelief and derision from almost everyone , Don Justo begins to build it with his own hands . Erected with waste material that has managed to recycle (cubes, pieces of wood, plastic pipes, remnants of other buildings) , the Cathedral of Don Justo is the monumental and persistent manifestation of a man, a farmer, without knowledge of architecture is he has managed to shape his dream.
