She usually shops twice a week for stuff for herself - her weaknesses being makeup and hair (wigs, hair extensions) - and goes bar-hopping in-between having expensive meals. Being the youngest of six siblings, she plays the baby card to the hilt, her older siblings who find it hard not to oblige her requests for handouts. She often lies to them saying that she needs money for a need, but really it is for a want. She frequently steals her mother's credit card. Her parents gave her tuition money on top of Jennifer's student loans, all of which she squandered on herself before dropping out of school due to boredom. She still has career dreams of having her own cosmetics line after starting in the business as a makeup artist. The one person who has finally had enough is Jennifer's father, the two who are now not speaking to each other, despite Jennifer still living rent-free at home where she does not lift a finger to help with chores or other household finances, including food. Although Jennifer's consumer debt is not huge at $7,000, she makes little effort to pay it off, in addition to the fact that some of that debt is on two extremely high interest payday company loans. Gail wants Jennifer to: face the consequences of her living off her family guilt free; pay back her family more than just monetarily; and make steps to learn if her career goals are truly what she wants.
