When Ava discovers this plan of her husband's, he's already recruited his first disciple, James, who answered Kevin's ad on Craig's List. When confronted by the preposterousness of his plan, Kevin insists that enjoying the benefits of the cash flow from starting a religion can be outweighed by making sure it would a be a religion that's all about helping others.
