Driving the minibus there is Jeff, a disillusioned older man who dislikes Roxy on sight. Jeff attempts to abandon Roxy on the way but her naivety chips away at him until they reach common ground. Roxy sings her song at stage door, but doesn't receive the reception she had dreamed of. On the drive back Jeff realizes Roxy is crying and attempts to cheer her up by talking to her. Instead of dropping her off at the bus meeting point he decides to take her home. Written by
