The group spends the next couple of days in Meredith making their report to the authorities. Next, they return to explore more at the lost city. They discover the ancient tomb of Chaac Bahlam, a captive king. Quiche gives C.T. a special going away present. The group returns to the Mimi in Tulum for a final swim and to say their goodbyes. It's almost Christmas and C.T. will be returning home to Ohio the next day. The last line in his journal reads, "Hasta Luego!" Expedition 12B - "One Stone at a Time": Hosted by Ben Affleck. Nobody really knows what all of the ancient Mayan temples were really used for, but they do know that some of them were probably for religious ceremonies. Ben visits the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, a gothic temple made of limestone, the same material Mayan temples are made of. St. John's has been under construction for over 100 years. When it is completed, it will be the largest gothic cathedral in the world. Ben meets with Alan Bird, a master stone mason from England, whose in charge of cutting the stones for the cathedral. See less
