He is held responsible for the disappearance of foreign tourists John Reed, Christine Heuser and Herbert Wanner. Tatunca Nara is the main character in the book "A Crônica de Akakor", by the German journalist Karl Brugger, which tells the story of the city lost in the Amazon jungle, full of treasures and whose exact location Tatunca claims to know.
