Some are wrinkled and torn, pacing aimlessly, and some sleep under cardboard. However, weaving throughout that group is a whole different culture of homeless people who stand proudly, and hold a half-size paper with the word VOICE printed on the front. They communicate to pedestrians walking by: 'Dollar donation for the homeless program?' Vending for Change follows two VOICE vendors as they open the door to the inside realities of their life. They let us scope the cross-hairs of homelessness as we begin to understand how youth or wisdom can either build or destroy the future. Written by
