Bill thinks that his daughter should concentrate on Thorne instead. Right on cue, Thorne calls to ask Karen out. Zach and Felicia are very excited about the opening party of the Bikini Bar which draws a huge crowd. Darla convinces Macy to go with her to the opening of the new bar to cheer her up. When they spot Thorne and Karen dancing, Macy's mood turns sour quickly. Meanwhile, Sly starts singing "California Girls" and invites Felicia to join him on stage. Eric wants Sheila to come over which she mistakes as a dinner invitation. Just as Sheila realizes that he wants her to babysit Little Eric, Brooke arrives at the apartment and Sheila bows out. Eric wants to talk with Brooke about the state of their marriage; she on the other hand is confused why he is still having hope.
