Lo is nervous as she's in the process of asking Mae something important. Looming around them in the roller rink, are a strange cast of characters. These are Lo's compadres. At the center of this group is an older man named Bill, who seems to have power among them, and a young woman named Tess, who is eerily skating the rink alone. As Lo finally works herself up to ask Mae her question, an uninvited guest walks in: the owner of the rink who has called the cops on the apparent intruders. Lo's big night has just gone to shit and there's bloody hell to pay. See less
