She is such a nuisance that to keep her quiet they give her a badge, and send her out to look for a bank burglar, for whom a reward of $5,000 is offered. Dot chases a bearded man, who appeals to a policeman for protection. Then she gets after another man with a beard, but his wife comes to his rescue, and musses up Dot. Before hubby can call the policeman, Dot goes back to the office and the typewriter, but that evening as she goes home a man insults her, and she arrests him at the point of her hat pin. He is smooth shaven, but he is the hank thief, all right and Dot wins the reward. Written by
