A Game of War
Card game: War (Passive play & Space Bar only!)
A Game of War, kind of the way I imagined in my head as a kid.
I hope to add more animation variations but focused on the game playing properly first. Idle play option.
Any feedback / suggestions are appreciated
Made for One Button Jam 2024
You may first have to select the window in the web based game.
-Update v1.1 - Added Hud UI to show Deck percentage (so you know how you're doing). Changed 'One Button' to Space Bar from left mouse.
-Update v1.2 - Added more opponent images, randomly selected. Synced versions.
- Update v1.4 - Synced versions, added jeeps and artillery, reset the progress bar, added a clock timer, Added win and loss screen. Removed particles as they were acting strange between versions, place holder lights for now.

Beautifully done, congrats! I played for a long time but couldn't see the ending :p If I need to get the full deck to win, it would be nice to have a counter indicating how many cards everyone has!!
And to make games shorter it would be cool to be able to choose between a 32 or a 52 cards initial deck.
Last suggestion, adding the space bar as an alternative to the mouse button would be even more comfortable!
In any case, well done, that's clearly a lot of work. Nice job :)
Thank you for the feedback, The duration of play is one reason I added the 'Auto-Play' option as one of the last things.
I'll look into trying to give similar option to allow choosing/changing spacebar, Or maybe I'll just switch it.
I am planning on a UI indicator for deck size(s) but it's not in there yet.
Thank you again for the feedback and hosting the jam :D
