Classic Carrot Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting 🎂
Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 large eggs 3/4 cup milk 2 cups grated carrots 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Maple Cream Cheese Frosting: 2 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 2 tbsp maple syrup 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 8-inch round cake pans. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl. Combine wet and dry mixes, fold in carrots and nuts. Pour into pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool. Beat cream cheese and sugar, add maple syrup, frost the cake, and sprinkle with nuts. Prep Time: 30 mi
