Description

As per MLEB policy, we need to support the last 2 versions of MediaWiki. MLEB release 2021.04 happened last month and supported MW 1.34. Our next release will be in July, 2021, and by that time, MW 1.36 would have been released, so we can go ahead and remove all fallback code written to support MW 1.34.

Outcome

Some unused and untested code paths were removed to simplify code and its maintenance. Translate is no longer compatible with MediaWiki 1.34.
