There are a lot of sites in interwiki.sql that won't be of use or interest to the average wiki user. For example, drumcorpswiki and seattlewireless. It's just clutter that will distract users who are reviewing the interwiki table's contents at Special:Interwiki.

The others I want to give the ax to, because I think they're probably too seldom-used by the wide variety of sites in the wikisphere to merit retaining them.
Personally, if I were designing a list, I'd probably add a few sites like Dramatica, UrbanDictionary, or TV Tropes because they're such commonly-referenced sites, but those are controversial enough that I doubt those would fly. A few others on the interwiki map, like GoogleDefine and IArchive, look useful as well.

Remove cruft from interwiki.list and interwiki.sql
Can we agree in this task on some stuff to cut out of the table, and then file separate tasks proposing adding other stuff?
Probably better to keep it all on the one task. It's easier to keep track of it this way.
The following sites are in interwiki.sql but not at m:Interwiki map:
docbook gej jargonfile lugkr ppr sourcewatch tejo uea webseitzwiki
I suspect some of these sites no longer exist. I would be totally unopposed to the removal of these from interwiki.sql.
We can also get rid of mediazilla, as it is no longer relevant for new wikis.
How do we decide which Wikimedia sites to keep in the table? Are we limiting it to actual wikis? I notice we have wikimedia: on there, but not policy: which is on the interwiki map.
Also, I notice that there are some capitalization discrepancies between the interwiki map and this table.
