Gorgeous Farmhouse Dollar Tree DIY | This beauty can be rotated for the seasons! Check out this quick DIY and if you love it share the joy with others and sprinkle it their way! xoxo, Alyssa | By Southern Crafts Corner | Welcome back to Southern Crafts Corner. Today, we're gonna take these four palettes from Dollar Tree, some corded jute twine. We're gonna use a little wooden scrap that I have and an assortment of seasonal items to make little mini wreaths. I've already gone ahead and preassembled some ribbons and you will see what we're gonna do with those. So, these little palettes, I'm gonna go ahead and put into a square shape. I'm gonna use the fix all glue from Dollar Tree and I'm gonna go into opposite spots on my palette with the Fixal in hot glue. So that way the hot glue grabs it right away and the fixal as it dries binds it super tight. So go around and do this for all four of your palettes. Then, you'll get this cute, little shape. Then, I'm just gonna use this little wooden scrap I have and I am going to just glue it right into the center on the top of my little square right there. Next, I'm gonna grab some white chalk paint. I am just using a Rust Oleum chalked pint size paint or quartz size, excuse me, and we are gonna go through and just paint this whole thing white. Once your whole thing is painted, don't forget to paint your knob as well. I am going to grab some antique wax and a wiry briskly brush and I'm gonna go through and get all of the edges all the way around my frame. Once I get done doing the outer edges, I took some time to go ahead and do on the inside bristles in between all the slots and I'm using just a one-inch little chippy brush, some black paint, and I'm gonna go ahead and go over the edges one more time with just the black and then, I'll use whatever is left over on my chippy brush and gently brush it all over my little palettes. This will give me that rustic farmhouse look that I like. This is how I'd actually decorate my house and so I wanted to create a piece that I could hang up and actually change out seasonally. So, this one I think is gonna be super cute and I know that anybody can make it their own style for their own home. So, you'll see up close look how nice and rustic and farmhouse that looks. So, I took the corded wired jute twine and I went ahead and created three little circles. Now, you can guess these are gonna end up being cute little wreaths that I'm gonna go ahead and hang on the centerpiece that I added to my piece. So, right now, I'm creating my fall one. I'm just taking some flowers. I'm actually gonna go ahead and glue these all the way around in a pattern where I'm evenly spacing them and I am just gluing them right on to the jute twine. This one does have a wire in it so it's gonna keep it shape and this you're gonna wanna just take your time and make sure you get everything glued down and your spacing right. So, go all the way around and you can see I added some leaves in the background and a little bow, a little bit of pit berries, and got an adorable wreath. I went ahead and did the same thing with Farmhouse and with Christmas. I simply just took some zip ties, tied them around, and you can see with this one, I hit it with some pine cones and with the farmhouse one, I hit it with some leaves and my gorgeous tag that says blessed with my farmhouse ribbon. So, for this one, I'm just hanging a simple little hanger on the back of it. I really want the focal point to be these gorgeous little wreaths and look how stinking cute that looks when you pop that right on top there. I absolutely love the year-round farmhouse one. You can see you can add on your little fall one and create a cute display with some pumpkins. Let me be a little scarecrow in the front there and then of course, a Christmas one where you can add Christmas trees, maybe a snowman, a slay and this could just be a little piece that you have somewhere in your home. So, I hope you make this one. I hope you love it. Super easy to do. Easy Dollar Tree DIY.
