The last thing you want to do after a long travel day is walk into your RV and see that your RV cabinets or refrigerator came open. Spilling contents all over the floor, under the slides or all over the cabinets. It’s a big mess and a waste of money. So here are 3 things we use to keep cabinet doors and refrigerator doors secure on travel days. 1️⃣Reusable rubber twist ties- these things are great! So strong and durable. The set I have in the RV are original, over 3 years old. Even though our refrigerator has a lock I use these on the doors for extra protection. I have a dent in my refrigerator door from our very first travel day and the lock failed. Thankfully we didn’t have any groceries inside. And Brian uses bigger ones all over the RV to hold cables and hoses together. They’re just so versatile! 2️⃣Child safety latches- I love that these are attached with only 3M adhesive and that they lock and unlock with a simple twist. Don’t make our mistake, add some of these to make yours safer. We only had a small lock on ours and obviously that didn’t work. Install a wireless security camera by @arlosmarthome 5. We out bike alarms on the bikes that are very loud and go off if someone moves the bikes. Also great to have if you lock them up in public. 6. Bring them inside if you’re at a hotel or house7. Get e-bike insurance. Most insurance doesn’t cover them, they need their own policy. We got ours from Markel.
