Here is a lovely quilt that you will rarely find on the market, a vintage feedsack scrap quilt. Now let me tell you-- I made this one. I used a vintage feedsack top and hand quilted it, using a cotton batting and a Mayhew print (Still can be found if you wanted to make matching pillowcases) on the backing. This has been a labor of love for me, as it is just beautiful, and a pleasure for me to hand quilt. These vintage Christmas Tree ornaments look just like little patchwork cookie trees! Stitched up with vintage quilt snippets that features a wonderful array of 40s fabrics in the best colors and patterns! Backed with the softest Creamy Antique White felt, each patchwork tree has been appliquéd to the felt and then embellished with a wonderfully charming array of itty bitty buttons! Each one measures 5" tall (not including the hanger) and is 3.75" wide across at the widest - base of the tree. Each one is unique, and they are all so very similar - the same quilt, felt and buttons used in every single vintage tree ornament - fabric placement and buttons differ slightly, they're all adorable.
