Copenhagen Airport Facts Copenhagen Copenhagen Airport is the largest and busiest airport among all Nordic countries. The airport is located on Amager Island, less than 10kms south of Copenhagen proper. Copenhagen Airport services over 60,000 passengers each day, which averages to over 20 million people annually. It is commonly referred to as Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, after the town it lies in. There are three terminals operating at Copenhagen Airport. All domestic flights within the Nordic country of Denmark are handled at Terminal 1. Schengen and non-Schengen flights are serviced out of terminals 2 and 3. Terminals 2 and 3 share the arrivals section and passenger concourse. Customs and baggage claim is essentially located in Terminal 3.

Kastrup train station Trains provide fast and efficient service from Copenhagen's Kastrup Airport into both Copenhagen and Malmö. The trains stop directly beneath the main airport terminal building, and there is at least one regional train in both directions every 20 minutes throughout the day.
