Luis Octávio

Student of the Master's Program in Philosophy at PPGFIL/UFRRJ. I study the development of enkrateia in the writings of Xenophon and Plato, taking Socrates as the most important figure regarding self-control. I also study Nietzsche's reception of Greek self-control, in addition to a self-control that can be considered Nietzschean.
