The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of financial literacy, technological progres... more The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of financial literacy, technological progress, capital market training, and motivation on investment interest in the capital market. The research is included in the type of conclusive causality with quantitative data. This study uses primary data collected through questionnaires conducted with purposive and snowball sampling techniques on 110 respondents. This study uses a population of college students as well as capital market investors in the city of Surabaya. The research sample criteria are active students at universities in the city of Surabaya with an age range of 18-25 years, registered with the Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), have conducted stock transactions in securities with at least one transaction a year through the online trading system service. The research uses statistical and descriptive analysis models with multiple linear regressions. Data processing is done using Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) software. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy, technological progress, and motivation show a significant influence on investment interest. Respondents with high financial literacy can make better investments, which are aided by technological advances that make transactions easier and faster, as well as a strong desire to maximize profit. Meanwhile, capital market training does not show a significant influence on investment interest in the capital market. There is still dissatisfaction with capital market training, especially in material archives and direct practice related to investment. It is hoped that the research results can help various parties, including regulators and those responsible for realizing a better investment climate, as well as investors, to maintain and increase investment interest so that they can benefit from investing in the capital market.

Behavioural finance is a combination of financial theory and the laws of economics and psychology. The emergence of financial behaviour is the impact of the desire to meet the needs of life according to income. As an advantage, a person will tend to spend his personal finances wisely. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were 97 respondents, using a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. Data analysis used multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS version 24 program. Ramadan Effect, one type of market anomaly, is a seasonal anomaly which shows a difference in ave... more Ramadan Effect, one type of market anomaly, is a seasonal anomaly which shows a difference in average returns in the month of Ramadan compared to other months in one year. The phenomenon of increasing public consumption in the month of Ramadan is suspected to be a phenomenon that causes returns in Ramadan, especially in food and beverages companies different from the months outside of Ramadan. Ramadan in Indonesia has distinctive nature compared to Ramadan in other countries, namely the activity of giving each other food, so that product demand of food and beverages companies also increases. This study used the calculation of risk and returns portfolio to determine the level of risk and return portfolio of food and beverages companies during the month of Ramadan. Purposive sampling was chosen with the criteria of 3 companies that most actively moved their shares in food and beverages sector. Data analysis was explained using financial Mathematics. Based on the calculation, it was shown that PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk (INDF) had-1.67% of return and stocks risk at 2.67%, PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company, Tbk (ULTJ) had-0.19% return and 0.33% stocks risk, while PT. Siantar Top, Tbk (STTP) had 4.70% return and stocks risk at 8.31%. Calculating using portfolio calculation to minimize the risk was proven to be successful method. It showed that the individual stocks risk from the three companies could be reduced to 2.91% with positive return at 0.95%.

Determining investor intentions uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Behavioural theory is one of the factors that influence intentions to invest. Previous studies have shown different results about intentions to invest. Therefore, this study reveals more closely related factors affecting investors' intention to invest based on attitude, financial literacy, and perceptual antecedents. The respondents of this study were Surabaya stock investors, with 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses snowball sampling-data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square. The results showed that financial literacy did not affect attitude towards the brand, perceived risk had no effect on attitude towards the brand, perceived risk had a negative effect on perceived return, the perceived Trust had no effect on attitude toward the brand, perceived Trust did not affect perceived risk, the perceived Trust did not affect effect on perceived return, the perceived return has a positive impact on attitude towards the brand, brand familiarity has a positive impact on attitude towards the brand, brand familiarity does not affect perceived risk, brand familiarity has a positive effect on perceived Trust. Attitude towards the brand positively impacts the intention to invest in stock investors in Surabaya.

Pada dasarnya, setiap investor memiliki karakter yang berbeda dan dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, termasuk informasi keuangan, kompetensi, terlalu percaya diri, demografis dan psikografis. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda mengenai faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku investor di pasar modal, khususnya di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan kepercayaan berlebih, kompetensi, informasi keuangan, demografi dan variabel psikografis sebagai endogen danPerilaku sebagai variabel eksogen. Data diambil dari 31 responden kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Smart PLS. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh Terlalu percaya pada perilaku investor. Kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku investor. Informasi keuangan adalah efek negatif pada perilaku investor. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ada tidak ada efek demografis dan psikografis pada perilaku investor

This study aims to analyze whether internal and external factors can affect Sharia banks' profita... more This study aims to analyze whether internal and external factors can affect Sharia banks' profitability in Indonesia because data is viewed data that the profitability of Sharia banks in Indonesia is increasing. However, Sharia banks' development decreases from the number of Sharia bank offices in Indonesia that remain even declining annually. The population used in this study is 14 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia which the Financial Services Authority registers (OJK) rather than those filtered using specific criteria as stipulated during 2014-2018 in Indonesia and published financial statements for all periods of study and finally gained ten banks, this type of research is a quantitative causal. The results showed that one of the internal factors of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) had a positive influence over Sharia banking profitability (ROA) and other variables such as Non-Performing Finance (NPF), Financing of Debt Ratio (FDR), inflation, and BI Rate had no effect on Return On Asset (ROA).

This study aims to provide empirical evidence related to the effect of financial and macroeconomi... more This study aims to provide empirical evidence related to the effect of financial and macroeconomic performance on stock returns. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique and found 171 companies that routinely report financial reports, did not do a stock split, and did not conduct an IPO during 2014-2017. The data analysis technique used in this study was a multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 23 application. The results showed that simultaneous independent variables influence stock returns. Partial test results in this study showed that financial performance variables that were proxied by the Current ratio, PER, DER, PBV, and TATO did not affect stock returns, while macroeconomics (inflation and exchange rates) had a significant negative effect on stock returns. Macroeconomic factors are more influential on stock returns and responded by investors directly suitable for short-term investments, while financial performance requires time to be responded by stock returns and more suitable for long-term investments.

Analysis of investor behavior is done by using Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which is consists of attitude, subjective norm, and Perceived behavior Control, then used as an independent variable. Behavioral intention as intervening and behavior variable as the dependent variable. This study uses primary data, and data collection using questionnaires in the student population in Surabaya. Data were analyzed using partial least square analysis. The results of this study indicate that attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral controls have no effect on interest, while interest influences investment behavior.

Banyaknya produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM setempat, mendorong masyarakat dan pengelola BUMDes Podhojoyo Sukorejo untuk belajar terkait pemasaran online. Kegiatan PKM ini berupaya memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran online dengan materi pelatihan mengenai konsep komunikasi pemasaran dan pengenalan aplikasi pendukung pemasaran online (Shopee). Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan serta monitoring evaluation agar proses pelaksanaan program PKM ini dapat berjalan sesuai rencana, memperoleh hasil sesuai harapan dan tuntas dilaksanakan. Hasil pelatihan pemasaran online menunjukan bahwa peserta menjadi lebih mengetahui besarnya peluang pasar melalui toko online. Selain itu, peserta juga lebih mengetahui proses memasarkan produk yang dimiliki pada toko online. Kata Kunci: pemasaran online, toko online, pelatihan dan pendampingan

However, dividend payout itself also remains a debated topic. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Free Cash Flows, Leverage, Life Cycle, and the Size to Dividend Policy. The data is taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, using the sample of manufacturing firms sub-sector of consumption during 2011-2013. Multiple regressions were employed to analyze the data. Based on test results, this study indicates that all the independent variables affect the dividend policy, where FCF, DER and ROA had a positive effect on dividend policy, while the Size and RE / TE had no effect on the dividend policy. This study contributed to the research in dividend topic, and helps the firm to maintain its ability to distribute dividend to their shareholder and cast doubt whether manufactured firm in Indonesia rely on debt or free cash flow to pay dividend

The population used in this study is 14 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia which the Financial Services Authority registers (OJK) rather than those filtered using specific criteria as stipulated during 2014-2018 in Indonesia and published financial statements for all periods of study and finally gained ten banks, this type of research is a quantitative causal. The results showed that one of the internal factors of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) had a positive influence over Sharia banking profitability (ROA) and other variables such as Non-Performing Finance (NPF), Financing of Debt Ratio (FDR), inflation, and BI Rate had no effect on Return On Asset (ROA).

Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique and found 171 companies that routinely report financial reports, did not do a stock split, and did not conduct an IPO during 2014-2017. The data analysis technique used in this study was a multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 23 application. The results showed that simultaneous independent variables influence stock returns. Partial test results in this study showed that financial performance variables that were proxied by the Current ratio, PER, DER, PBV, and TATO did not affect stock returns, while macroeconomics (inflation and exchange rates) had a significant negative effect on stock returns. Macroeconomic factors are more influential on stock returns and responded by investors directly suitable for short-term investments, while financial performance requires time to be responded by stock returns and more suitable for long-term investments.

Determining investor intentions uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Behavioural theory is one of the factors that influence intentions to invest. Previous studies have shown different results about intentions to invest. Therefore, this study reveals more closely related factors affecting investors' intention to invest based on attitude, financial literacy, and perceptual antecedents. The respondents of this study were Surabaya stock investors, with 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses snowball sampling-data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square. The results showed that financial literacy did not affect attitude towards the brand, perceived risk had no effect on attitude towards the brand, perceived risk had a negative effect on perceived return, the perceived Trust had no effect on attitude toward the brand, perceived Trust did not affect perceived risk, the perceived Trust did not affect effect on perceived return, the perceived return has a positive impact on attitude towards the brand, brand familiarity has a positive impact on attitude towards the brand, brand familiarity does not affect perceived risk, brand familiarity has a positive effect on perceived Trust. Attitude towards the brand positively impacts the intention to invest in stock investors in Surabaya.

Analysis of investor behavior is done by using Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which is consists of attitude, subjective norm, and Perceived behavior Control, then used as an independent variable. Behavioral intention as intervening and behavior variable as the dependent variable. This study uses primary data, and data collection using questionnaires in the student population in Surabaya. Data were analyzed using partial least square analysis. The results of this study indicate that attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral controls have no effect on interest, while interest influences investment behavior.

Banyaknya produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM setempat, mendorong masyarakat dan pengelola BUMDes Podhojoyo Sukorejo untuk belajar terkait pemasaran online. Kegiatan PKM ini berupaya memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran online dengan materi pelatihan mengenai konsep komunikasi pemasaran dan pengenalan aplikasi pendukung pemasaran online (Shopee). Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan serta monitoring evaluation agar proses pelaksanaan program PKM ini dapat berjalan sesuai rencana, memperoleh hasil sesuai harapan dan tuntas dilaksanakan. Hasil pelatihan pemasaran online menunjukan bahwa peserta menjadi lebih mengetahui besarnya peluang pasar melalui toko online. Selain itu, peserta juga lebih mengetahui proses memasarkan produk yang dimiliki pada toko online. Kata Kunci: pemasaran online, toko online, pelatihan dan pendampingan

However, dividend payout itself also remains a debated topic. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Free Cash Flows, Leverage, Life Cycle, and the Size to Dividend Policy. The data is taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, using the sample of manufacturing firms sub-sector of consumption during 2011-2013. Multiple regressions were employed to analyze the data. Based on test results, this study indicates that all the independent variables affect the dividend policy, where FCF, DER and ROA had a positive effect on dividend policy, while the Size and RE / TE had no effect on the dividend policy. This study contributed to the research in dividend topic, and helps the firm to maintain its ability to distribute dividend to their shareholder and cast doubt whether manufactured firm in Indonesia rely on debt or free cash flow to pay dividend

Pada dasarnya, setiap investor memiliki karakter yang berbeda dan dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, termasuk informasi keuangan, kompetensi, terlalu percaya diri, demografis dan psikografis. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda mengenai faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku investor di pasar modal, khususnya di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan kepercayaan berlebih, kompetensi, informasi keuangan, demografi dan variabel psikografis sebagai endogen danPerilaku sebagai variabel eksogen. Data diambil dari 31 responden kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Smart PLS. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh Terlalu percaya pada perilaku investor. Kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku investor. Informasi keuangan adalah efek negatif pada perilaku investor. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ada tidak ada efek demografis dan psikografis pada perilaku investor
