This research aims to determine the level of understanding of elementary school students' future ... more This research aims to determine the level of understanding of elementary school students' future orientation. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a one-group before-after design. The sample in this research was 14 grade 6 elementary school students. Based on the research results, it show that the future orientation of Al-Irhaam Elementary School students increased after receiving career guidance services for two sessions. Thus, career guidance is effective in providing an understanding of students' future orientation in the aspects of motivation, planning, and evaluation. The motivation stage includes motives, interests, and goals related to future orientation; the planning stage is related to determining goals, preparing plans, and implementing plans; and the evaluation stage includes the stage where students assess the behavior displayed, as well as provide reinforcement from themselves.

Schools are learning centers where students seek knowledge, and they must be safe, friendly envir... more Schools are learning centers where students seek knowledge, and they must be safe, friendly environments free from violence. This research aims to improve the handling of sexual violence cases among elementary school students. The subjects were 420 students from grades 4 to 6 at SDN 106 Ajitunggal Cijambe Bandung, using a quasiexperimental method. Before receiving classical guidance services, students lacked awareness of the types of sexual violence, did not know whom to report to, and were afraid to inform teachers if they witnessed a friend experiencing sexual violence. However, after receiving classical guidance, (1) students became more aware of the dangers of promiscuity and sexually violent behaviors linked to social media, especially on platforms like TikTok, allowing them to discern appropriate content, (2) students became more open to seeking help from friends, teachers, and parents if they encountered sexual violence, and (3) students developed greater awareness and caution regarding new environments that might lead to sexual violence. This study concludes that classical guidance services are effective in increasing elementary students' understanding and ability to handle sexual violence cases.

Children with dyslexia may have adequate cognitive abilities but they often show considerable dif... more Children with dyslexia may have adequate cognitive abilities but they often show considerable difficulties in reading where they are less accurate in spelling and pronouncing words. Phonological deficit is the main cause of reading disorders in dyslexic children, and hence, developing competence in phonological awareness is important to increase children's sensitivity to the structure of a word. This study aims to develop a web-based assistive technology called Lexiroom for Indonesian dyslexic children to increase their phonological awareness. This includes the aspects of syllable awareness, segmenting words into sounds, and manipulating sounds. As a preliminary study, the proposed learning media is implemented using a single subject design with a research and development approach. The results show that Lexiroom can improve the phonological awareness of a child diagnosed with dyslexia. However, Lexiroom still has limitations in doing speech recognition, so in making the next media it is necessary to consider the structure in speech recognition assets to minimize error answers that are inputted in the form of voice.

The study was conducted at one of the private elementary schools in Bandung, while the research subjects were the 4th-grade students who have dyslexic obstacles. The research method used was case study which is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using interviews and observation methods. Based on observations of the students and interviews with the homeroom teachers, the research concludes that the impact of dyslexia on self-esteem on the competence and power aspects depicts a low-level of self-esteem, but on the significance and virtue aspects, it depicts a high-level self-esteem.

P enyampaian materi diakukan dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mendapatkan apresiasi positif dari guru-guru terkait dengan pemahaman urgensinya layanan bimbingan karir untuk peserta didik kelas VI, dalam rangka memberikan pembelakan kesiapan bagi peserta didik untuk memilih melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang berikutnya seperti ke SMP atau Pesantren. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, and 8 subjects were selected through purposive sampling technique. The results show that during distance learning, group guidance services with self-management techniques can effectively improve student discipline behavior in collecting online assignments from subject teachers. Based on the results of interviews and documents before and after the study, it was found that students experienced significant behavioral changes in the discipline of collecting online assignments from subject teachers during distance learning activities.Keywords: group guidance, self management, discipline

The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for assistive technology for learning innovation in one of the students who experienced dyslexia in elementary school. This research is qualitative research, using case study method. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The instruments used in collecting data include: interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation guidelines. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Dyslexia is a condition caused by neurobiological abnormalities that are characterized by difficulty in recognizing words accurately in spelling and inability to encode symbols which lead to reading disorder. The research method used is research and development. This research develops web-based learning media called LexiRoom learning applications. The LexiRoom web was trialed to dyslexic students of the fourth grade of elementary school and obtained effective results to help students to have better comprehension of words and sentences within a paragraph.

Secara filosofis, sebagian besar pendidik menganut konsep inklusi, namun secara pragmatis masih banyak yang menentang praktik yang sebenarnya. Kegiatan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi pada guru SD mengenai keterampilan dalam berkolaborasi untuk keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui kegiatan webinar dengan media zoom meeting. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This research uses analysis with an inductive approach where the data in this study is descriptive data which is generally in the form of words and pictures. Data collection tools using data triangulation, namely interviews, observations and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of class XI in Vocational High School, the subjects in this study were 2 people who were indicated to have low social skills. However, there are still many high school students who do not have good career maturity. Therefore, guidance and counseling teachers are expected to guide students in determining their careers, one of which is group guidance usingtechniques self-management. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The results showed that the condition of the student's career maturity began to grow, due to the handling provided by the counseling teacher through a series of services, one of which was group guidance services with self-management techniques. The sample involved was people, with data collection techniques using an online game addiction questionnaire. Based on descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques obtained research results as follows online game addiction profiles of students according to the medium category. Gender-based online games online games for male students are higher than the level of addiction to online games for female students. The results of online game addiction research in terms of indicators found that indicators of compulsion and tolerance in the high category while the withdrawal indicator depends on the medium category. In the school environment, students are required to comply with the rules and regulations that exist in school. The purpose of this study was to determine individual counseling services in improving student discipline. The approach in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The forms of violations that are often committed by grade IX students at SMP Raksanagara are often late coming to school, late doing assignments, and students' ethics towards teachers who are not. Therefore, individual guidance and counseling services are needed to improve the discipline of students of SMP Raksanagara Cihampelas, guidance and counseling teachers are able to become supervisors, mentors, and controllers.Keywords: individual counseling, discipline.
