A soft spot for all things Japanese

I lived and worked in Japan in the 1990's and also studied Japanese art at high school and art school. I have revisited 7 more times. The harmony and respect for beauty and nature is evident in their culture. These pictures bring back strong memories of the times I have spent in Japan.

Yaki Onigiri (Grilled Rice Balls) 焼きおにぎり
Yaki Onigiri, meaning “grilled rice balls”, are a simple and delicious way to switch up your lunch or dinner side dish rather than just a plain old bowl of rice! They’re also much more portable and easy to eat on the go! These Yaki Onigiri are even coated in a very tasty Miso Butter Sauce to make them even better and more yummy!
