There are a lot of excellent post-Christmas sales going on right now. (We even have an entire roundup with all of our favorite deals that range from clothing and beauty to home goods and tech.) Sephora is one of those retailers giving extra savings on already discounted products. From now until January 1, Beauty Insiders (regardless of tier; it’s free to become one) get an extra 20 percent off sale items with the code EXTRA20. The sales bin isn’t as beefed up as it was pre-holidays, but I still found very well-priced beauty sets and a couple other rarely discounted Strategist favorites. Stock seems to be selling out quickly, so be sure you snag these deals while you can.
Skin Care
I found a lot of excellent deals on skin-care sets, including this one from longtime Strategist favorite the Inkey List. It comes with everything you need to combat winter skin — a gentle cleanser, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, and lip balm — for under $20.
This Tatcha set is a price jump from the above but still a steal. You get the Water Cream (our favorite splurgy moisturizer for oily skin), ultrahydrating Kissu lip mask, and clarifying cleanser for less than the price of the Water Cream alone.
This is a good, affordable body scrub for getting rid of KP thanks to a high concentration of AHAs. I found the travel size even more discounted, bringing its price down to just $8.
Another great find: two limited-edition Balm Dotcoms for less than the price of one full-size tube.
If it’s dark spots you’re combating, our beauty writer, Tembe Denton-Hurst, says this is one of the few affordable vitamin-C serums that delivers noticeable results.
Multiple dermatologists I spoke to recommend this hydrating face mask, because it boosts moisture and improves skin elasticity. You can get the smaller one-ounce version for $10 less than its original price today.
Makeup
The Tarte Shape Tape dupe I won’t stop talking about is nearly half off today and available in nearly all shades.
I recently found out that this buzzy lip product is worth all the hype. It’s well pigmented, smooths any lip lines, and lasts all day long.
Urban Decay’s Perversion — our favorite lengthening mascara — adds height and volume to lashes without any clumps. Right now, you can get it at a drugstore price.
Hair Care
Verb’s affordable hair-care products are beloved by staffers and hairstylists for smoothing out and adding shine to their strands. Here’s a set of the Strategist-approved shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, and hair spray for under $30.
Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo counts our beauty columnist Rio Viera-Newton and Kylie Kelce as fans. You can snag a mini version of it plus a volume spray and hair spray for just $26.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
