With a projected settlement date of 2025, the Mars One project has received over 200,000 applications for the one way trip to the Red Planet. Bryan Versteeg is a conceptual designer who’s been working with the Mars One team in anticipation of the planet’s eventual colonization.

In 2777, the space-time war of nuclear weapons brought irreparable wounds to the earth's surface. Humans moved to the sky, and space fortresses were located among clouds. People could never be eligible to return to land. This is the floating fortress named Xinghe Space Station, which is the connection and supply point of Human Space City.

In a distant future, The Company is in charge. In an effort to save their world from cataclysmic climate change, massive spaceships with the ability to transport entire tracts of planet in the form of dug up land form a supply chain elsewhere in the solar system.
