The gut is still wet on my bug. It may look a little gross at this stage. These pictures are from Melissa Manley's Class Insecta workshop at ArtFest.

This fantastic set of paper insects was created from reclaimed paper by Belgium-based ad agency Soon for paper company IGEPA Benelux. About two years ago I have started to make paper sculptures with fine crepe paper. First I made plants, then insects and one gecko. Recently I got my first commission for a mantis.

Sculpture by Wendy Taylor from 1999 of two dung beetles rolling an enormous dung ball - London Zoo didn't prove very usual for my primary research but I liked this sculpture!
