Above head lighting reference

Light. This has an unusual lighting because we are bias into thinking that the light source that are centered and from above is normal. However, in this photo, the light source comes from the bottom, shadowing the top of the model's face. This type of lighting creates an eerie essence for the model.

The ACT doesn't penalizing guessing, so you should never leave any answer blank and always guess. Even with this, students still make one huge mistake. This is a fashion portrait. To take this photo I used three lights with three different coloured gels over the lights. I wanted to create a dramatic mood using colours instead of using facial expressions and poses. I used red, blue and green. I thought that these colours could all communicate something so thats why I chose them.
