Depicted is a facial reconstruction of Pharaoh Seti I, based on his mummified remains. From an examination of Seti's well-preserved mummy, Seti I appears to have been less than forty years old when he died. The reasons for his relatively early death are uncertain, but there is no evidence of violence on his mummy. It has been suggested that he may have died from a heart condition.
