Basement Family Room

Wants: A light, bright room New flooring Mount the big screen tv Either built-in cabinetry or a free-standing cabinet under the tv to hide the gaming cords and clutter as well as hold blankets A long sofa or sectional with lots of seating facing the big screen tv A long narrow console table where people can sit and eat with some sort of seating that can be pushed in when not in use Maybe a small table and chairs in the corner Relocate the kitchenette Change the window coverings to something that allows a better view when open and darkness when closed (either shades or drapes?) Change the paint colors Maybe a low, wide gas or electric fireplace under the tv would warm up the chilly basement
