There are varieties of different tools available to perform sequence analysis. Blast is a successful tool to compare biological sequences. Now a days Large amount of biological data is available, So Standalone Blast is not sufficient to handle all types of queries related to sequence similarities, so different variants (BlastX, BlastP, BlastN, TblastN, TblastX, PSI_Blasts) have been developed. Each variant has limitations and advantages. Every tool is made to handle with different purposes. In this paper comparison of variants of BLAST(BlastX, BlastP, BlastN, TblastN, TblastX, PSI_Blasts) is done on the basis of different factors. This has been also analyzed that how we can increase the efficiency of these variants.

Without correct co-reference any translation has wrong interpretation. In this paper we investigated the type of antecedent for Hindi. We discussed the five values of this feature of antecedent. We analyzed 165 news items of Ranchi Express from EMILEE corpus of plain text. It consist 2382 sentences. Eight file of dialogue based from the same corpus has been analyzed which consist 871 sentences and from plain text 1511 sentences have been taken. In plain text 966 sentences have nominal antecedent, 387 have clausal antecedent and 153 do not have antecedent (abstract anaphora). On the other hand dialogue based files have 428 nominal antecedent, 334 have clausal antecedent and 108 do not have antecedent (abstract anaphora). Rest two features, Adjectival and propositional / Factual are either zero value or too low to be considered.

This provides syntactic information about a word or a word phrase. In this paper, an effort has been made to provide the algorithm for semiautomatic annotation for Hindi text to cater anaphora resolution only. The study was conducted on twelve files of Ranchi Express available in EMILLE corpus. The corpus is originally tagged for demonstrative pronouns. The detection of the pronouns is supported by the incorporation of seven tags. However the semantic interpretation of the demonstrative pronoun is not supported in the original corpus. In this paper an effort has been made to automate the process of tagging as well as the handling of semantic information through addition tags. It was conducted on 1485 demonstrative pronouns. The average accuracy of precision, recall and F measure is 74, 71 and 72 respectively.

It will guide the researchers to evaluate the parameter to consider their relevance in the study. In this paper we consider two features out of seven tags which were employed to resolve the anaphora in Hindi. These tags and their values analyzed empirically for the corpus. We analyzed 165 news items of Ranchi Express from EMILEE corpus of plain text. It consists 1745 sentences. Eight files of dialogue base from the same corpus have been analyzed which will have 1521 sentences. We exploited tag set proposed by different authors and their features.

Vehicular Ad-Hoc networks provide communication between on-board unit (OBU) already integrated in the vehicles and roadside units (RSUs) consisting of on-board sensors, processing modules, and wireless communication modules. Immense amount of research is going on both by industry and academia. In vehicular communication because of the high speed of vehicles frequent handovers occur and hence there is always a requirement of secure and fast authentication for a seamless handover to take place. In this paper we propose an authentication scheme that will not only provide security and privacy but also will reduce the storage and communication overhead increasing the efficiency.

Almost all NLP applications such as machine translation, information extraction, automatic summarization, question answering system, natural language generation, etc., require successful identification and resolution of anaphora. Though the significant amount of work has been done in English and other European languages, the computational work, in reference to Hindi, is lagging far behind. In this paper, we present a review of work done in the field of anaphora resolution in Hindi. We also cover different issues and challenges in developing computational models for Hindi.. The paper covers issues related to syntactic/semantic structure of Hindi and influence of cases on pronouns, mainly personal pronoun. The work is mainly dedicated to pronominal anaphora. As the pronouns in Hindi do not differentiate gender, it is the verb and case markers that signify different genders. Influence of case markers in deciding the antecedent is explored. Pronoun resolution in context of EHMT (English-Hindi Machine Translation) systems is demonstrated to substantiate the need of anaphora resolution for NLP application.

This paper discusses how to describe architecture through a set of design viewpoints and how to express these views in the UML. In this paper we mainly focused on the standardization of UML for software development process with the discussion of benefits of UML. Object-oriented analysis (OOA) is concerned with developing software engineering requirements and specifications that expressed as a system's object model (which is composed of a population of interacting objects), as opposed to the traditional data or functional views of systems. The goal of this paper is to combine the respective strengths of powerful, specialized (architectural-based) modeling approach (UML) with a widely used general (design-based) approach. Also some weaknesses have been discussed so that existing modeling can be optimized for better architecture development.

We describe a process for developing a simple parser for doing such tasks. This parser uses a grammar driven approach to annotate dependency relations (both inter and intra chunk) at an intermediary level. Ease in identifying a particular dependency relation dictates the degree of analysis reached by the parser. To establish efficiency of the simple parser we show the improvement in its results over previous grammar driven dependency parsing approaches for Indian languages like Hindi. We also propose the possibility of usefulness of the simple parser for Indian languages that are similar in nature.
