En The following manuscript shows the research pattern followed by the transdisciplinary team of pedagogists. Navigating throughout the pre-, cross- and post-COVID scenarios, the manuscript summarised the evolution of the research and the results gained in the last two years from adolescents and teachers. The aim is to open a discussion upon results and progress in assisting, supporting, and helping students, educators and parents to cope with the upcoming challenges in post-pandemic scenarios. In doing so, the results will be discussed along with the embodied and emotion learning theories.

The following contribution proposes a case study of 6 girls aged between 13 and15 with obesity certified according to the WHO criteria relating to BMI (Body Mass Index). The educational-therapeutic route realized starts from the theories of Embodied Cognition Science about the role of corporeality in learning and is carried out in a 6 week educational dance program set accordingto the criteria of an experimental teaching methodology. The work, followed by a nutritionist in the recruitment phase of the subjects, by a psychologistpedagogist, an external pedagogist-expert and a dance-educator in the design and operational phase, is enriched with an educational interview and a brief reflection on the obtained data and future development prospects.

These goals seem to depend on disparate interdependent factors, including psychological well-being, the ability to self-determine, and the social cohesion of the context in which an individual grows and develops. Cultural participation seems to be an effective response to this challenge, as it can promote the development of personal and social skills. In the present article it is, therefore, analyzed how active and/or passive participation in cultural activities can represent an interesting educational ground for promoting well-being through the development of soft skills. At the same time, the neurobiological effects of such enjoyment and an examination of the most effective pedagogical interventions are reported.

It includes the Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT), the California Verbal Learning Test-2 (CVLT2) and the Brief Visuospatial Memory Test-Revised (BVMT-R). In this study we aimed at gathering regression based normative data for the BICAMS battery in the Italian population. Methods: Healthy subjects were consecutively recruited among patient friends and relatives. Corrections for demographics were calculated using multivariable linear regression models. Test-retest reliability was assessed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The BICAMS battery was administered to 273 healthy subjects (180 women, mean age 38.9 ± 13.0 years, mean education 14.9 ± 3.0 years). Test-retest reliability was good for all the tests. Conclusions: The study provided normative data of the BICAMS for the Italian population confirming good test-retest reliability which can facilitate the use of the battery in clinical practice, also for longitudinal patient assessments.

Sport participation is associated with positive developmental outcomes: children physically active appear to be less prone to mental distress and shows enhanced cognitive skills, discipline, responsibility and empathy. Aim of this article is to emphasize the role of sport in adolescents’ education. Therefore the following pilot research evaluate the effect of the sport practice on Eating Habit, Sleeping Pattern, Relationship and awareness in using Technologies. To date, the research group has administered “S.M.A.R.T. questionnaire” to a group of 128 subjects: 82 practicing spor...

On 9 March 2020, to stop the spread of COVID-19 cases, the Italian government declared a health emergency, forcing all citizens to go into lockdown. Suddenly, schools were constrained to using distance learning strategies with little or limited experience on the topic. Particularly, in the southern regions of Italy, approximately 20% of the students did not have access to any devices and were excluded from learning, producing a direct risk of increased adolescent delinquency. This research team intended to report the results of an observational study that focused on the perceptions of distance learning in adolescents from secondary school in Naples (Italy) between April and May 2020. The questionnaire comprised 11 questions focused on the perceptions of distance learning in comparison to live classrooms, relationships with peers and teachers, and levels of anxiety. The study is ...
