Foundational Theories: There are eight d... more Benchmark - Leading a Continuously Changing Organization Foundational Theories: There are eight different theories that are used to lead organizations” One theory that I believe have fooled many people and that one is called: “Great Man theories,” in this theory the leaders have a belief that he/she was born to lead (Cherry, 2016). (2) Trait theories that some people have certain traits that will make them leaders. (3) Contingency is another theory that looks at different variables, such as the environment and use this to determine what is the best leadership style to use in running the organization. (4) Situational theories refer to how leaders look at the situation and determine what is the best form of leadership style is best to use for that situation. (5) Behavioral theories, which is one that I believe to be more truthfully than all the others. Behavioral theories beliefs are that leaders can be taught and train to be good leaders. (6) Participative leadership is one that takes into account what the lower level employees feel about how the organization is being lead. This style believes that everyone should have some input in the working of their organization. (7) Management theories, also known as a transactional theory, which focuses on the organization as a whole that includes supervisor, organization, and management. This theory operates on rewards and punishments; they get a raise in pay if their performance is good and if not, no raise and maybe even fired. (8) Relationship theories, also known as transformational theories helps to show employees how important teamwork is and how together they can complete the work that is required. Relationship theory is also known as the moral and ethical standard model (Cherry, 2016).

Furthermore, depression can be a very crippling disease that affects the entire family. Talk therapy has been shown to help improve the quality of life for some people suffering from depression.
