Thus, it evaluated the implications of sources of finance on the growth of SMEs in Nassarawa State, Nigeria. The study used 131observations obtained from SME owners or managers that were purposively selected from four different agro related SMEs including crop farming, fish farming, poultry farming and agro input traders. The multiple regression was employed and the study discovered that the different sources of SME's finance have significant and positive implications on the overall growth of SMEs in Nigeria, but that some sources have more implications on some particular growth indices than the others. Thus, it was recommended that SMEs' owners and managers must be diligent and strategic in the choice of source of finance in order to efficiently attain particular growth objectives. Furthermore, SMEs' owners and managers should improve their knowledge on financial structure in order to get the appropriate combination of finance from the different sources that can help attain growth objectives efficiently.

The study focused on determining the extent of the application of the assignment QM on the effective employees' compensation of Zenith Bank Plc. It employed the correlation analysis technique in analyzing the last ten years (2006-2015) personnel costs and gross earnings in the annual financial reports of the Bank and found out that there is a very strong relationship between these variables with a high correlation value of 0.9416. It was recommended that service organizations in Nigeria should strive to adopt application of quantitative methods and care less about the immediate cost implications.

The major objective was to evaluate the implications of sociocultural environment on the performance of selected small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Kano State, Nigeria. This empirical study gathered data from secondary and primary sources. Specifically, copies of questionnaire were administered on randomly selected 25 SME owners/managers each from 4 purposively selected groups or sectors including fabrics/fashion; ICT accessories; Bureau De Change dealers and restaurants/eateries. The simple percentage (%); correlation coefficient and the analysis of variance (ANOVA) statistical tools were employed in the analysis of data collated and it was discovered that some elements of the socio-cultural environment have more implications on some performance variables than others. Generally, the result showed that the socio-cultural environment has positive and significant implication on performance of SMEs if properly understood and taken seriously. Consequently, the study recommended that as part of government's efforts in encouraging the growth and development of SMEs, owners/managers should be formally or informally trained on how to scan the environment and, this training and implementation of knowledge acquired should be taken very seriously by these owners/managers.
