Thuy Improta on Instagram: "🌸 A Must-Know Trick for This Spring! 🌸 🌼 Keep your flowers fresh longer with this simple hack 🌼 Follow @ministry_from_home for more homemaking Did you know about this ? My mom always told me to add sugar, but I recently discovered the vinegar trick too! Here’s how it works: 1. Cut the stems of your flowers at a 45-degree angle. 2. Trim any leaves that will be submerged in water. 3. In a vase, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of vinegar for every 1 liter of lukewarm water. 4. Place your flowers in the vase filled with the sugar-vinegar solution. The sugar nourishes the plants, while the vinegar inhibits bacterial growth, helping your flowers stay fresh longer! Give it a try and enjoy your beautiful, long-lasting flowers! 💐🌺🌼 trick too!

Italian Chef Deborah Dal Fovo on Instagram: "🌷🌷How I get tulips to stand up straight 🌷🌷 Are your tulips droopy? Don’t despair…get them to stand straight up with my simple trick. Tulips tend to bend and droop but make them stand tall by doing these simple steps: 1️⃣ Cut an inch off the bottom of the stems at a diagonal 2️⃣ Fill a vase with only 2 inches of cold water, about the width of 3 fingers. 3️⃣ Drop a copper penny or two in the water (I only used one) then arrange the tulips in the vase and watch what happens… After anywhere from a couple hours ⏰ to overnight they go from curved and droopy to standing straight and tall. Mine greeted me in the morning with a salute 🫡. Simply gorgeous! Change the water every other day🚰 to keep your tulips standing tall 🌷🌷. 👆Follow fo

Loui Burke on Instagram: "Here’s a hack to you’re going to want to share and save for later when you want your flowers standing tall. I know most of you know these are gerbras. They’re not a huge fan favourite amongst many but I reckon when you see a bunch that look as good as this you’ve got to pick them up. A little ombre moment and extra petals make these premium gerbras! 1. Start off by unpacking them and separating onto your bench. 2. Now to stop the flower from falling over or swaying you’re going to grab some scissors and poke a hole just beneath the flower. This helps remove air bubbles in the stem which increases water intake. You can use this method on gerbras, tulips and even some roses. 3. Once you’ve finished that grab your vase. I think with a gerbras call for

Tahira Nagori on Instagram: "🌸Simple and easy way to take grocery store flowers 🌸 to next level. This VASE is so beautiful 😍😍 Like & comment VASE and I will send you all the links! I always put household Clorox and a tablespoon of sugar in the water. Clorox takes care of the bacteria and sugar give nutrition to flowers. The tape grid technique is there to keep flowers upright, this way it looks like a professional flower arrangement. Let me know if you have any other method to keep flowers f

Carmen Johnston Gardens on Instagram: "You can do this in your sink, in buckets, bowls whatever:))) but this helps get ride of the spiders, beetles etc so they don’t crawl around your house. When you are done, dump the water in the yard and return the bugs back to their outdoor home 💚"
