Carnaval, as I know it back home was always a festive and happy time that I have fond memories of (although I could have done without the stink bombs…hopefully that’s not still a thing). Growing up I always saw Carnaval as Portugal’s Halloween 😆 Getting to dress up and pulling pranks in eachother.
