How To Visit Banyumala Twin Waterfalls in Bali

Banyumala Waterfall is located in Northern Bali, between Munduk and Bedugul. The waterfall is also known as Banyumala Twin Waterfalls as it cascades down the cliff in two distinct streams. The waterfall is between 20-30m tall (no official height given) with the water cascading down the incline of the cliff in multiple streams rather than a dramatic single drop. It’s among our favourite waterfalls in northern Bali and is relatively easy to reach. After several visits to this waterfall during our travels around Bali, we’ve put together this guide explaining exactly how to get there and what to expect from the trail.

How To Visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall: Bali's Famous Cave Waterfall

Tukad Cepung is a unique waterfall in northern Bali where the river cascades down into a cave. If you visit in the morning, when the sun casts rays of light down into the gorge, it makes for some epic photo opportunities. The waterfall is near the village of Tembuku, about a 40 minute drive from Sidemen or 50 minutes from Ubud. We love this waterfall and think it’s worth going out of your way for. However, avoiding crowds is essential to enjoy the experience properly. After our latest visit, we’ve put together this quick guide so that you know when to go and what to expect.

Tegenungan Waterfall is a powerful waterfall where the water plummets over a 15m drop in the Petanu River. It’s one of the largest waterfalls in central Bali, just a 25-minute drive south of Ubud town centre. Tegenungan has become a tourist hotspot in recent years, with several restaurants and a luxury day club now overlooking the huge waterfall and a 188 m-long glass bridge stretching across the gorge.
