L-istorja tal-Lhud f'Malta' mifruxa fuq żewġ millenji. Komunità Lhudija hija attestata fuq il-gżejjer mis-seklu 4-5. Il-Lhud rnexxew f’Malta taħt il-ħakma Għarbija u Normanna. Ġew mkeċċija fl-1492, u komunità setgħet terġa' tistabbilixxi ruħha biss wara l-1798 taħt il-ħakma Brittanika. Fis-seklu 19 u 20, il-komunità Lhudija f’Malta laqgħet refuġjati mill-Italja u l-Ewropa Ċentrali, ħarbet mill-ħakma Nażista. Illum, komunità żgħira għadha stabbilita sew fuq il-gżejjer.
