Adam Sandler
Adam Richard Sandler (lahir 9 September 1966) adalah pelakon, pelawak, penerbit filem, dan ahli muzik Amerika Syarikat yang juga bernyanyi dan bermain gitar. Selepas menjadi pelakon Saturday Night Live dan mencapai kejayaan sebagai pelawak yang berdiri di hadapan penonton, dia kemudian menjadi seorang pelakon Hollywood yang utama dan telah berlakon dalam tujuh buah filem ASD$100 juta.[2] Sedangkan dia paling terkenal untuk peranan-peranan komedinya, dia juga mencapai kejayaan dalam peranan-peranan yang serius dalam filem Punch-Drunk Love (2002) dan filem Spanglish (2004).

suntingSandler dilahirkan di Brooklyn, New York kepada ibu bapa Amerika Yahudi, Stan dan Judy Sandler. Dia mempunyai tiga saudara kandung yang lebih tua, iaitu Scott, Liz dan Val, serta seorang adik lelaki bernama Jared Sandler yang pernah berlakon sama-samanya dalam tiga buah filem. Adam dibesarkan di Manchester, New Hampshire, dan menyertai Sekolah Tinggi Sentral Manchester.
Kehidupan peribadi
suntingSandler, seorang ahli alumni fraterniti Tau Epsilon Phi, memperoleh ijazah Sarjana Muda Seni Halusnya daripada Universiti New York pada tahun 1988. Pada 22 Jun 2003, dia berkahwin dengan peragawati Jackie Titone yang ditemukannya ketika berlakon sama-sama dalam filem Big Daddy. Sandler dan Titone bekerjasama semula dalam filem komedi Rob Schneider, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo yang Sandler merupakan penerbit eksekutif. Mereka dikurniakan dengan anak pertamanya, Sadie Madison Titone-Sandler, pada 6 Mei 2006. Anak perempuannya ini dinamakan sempena ayah Sandler dan datuk bininya.
Sandler kembali ke Sekolah Tinggi Sentral Manchester, sekolah tingginya, sebagai penceramah tamu untuk kelas tamatan anak saudara lelakinya pada tahun 2003 dan kelas tamatan anak saudara perempuannya pada 2004.
Walaupun Sandler jarang mewawancara untuk media bercetak, dia sekali-sekala memaparkan video-video ringkas dalam laman webnya.
