Board elections
[edit]Hæ!
Vil du ta en titt på Board elections/2011/CentralNotice også? Islandsk mangler der, det kan være kjekt å ha. :-) Jon Harald Søby 18:07, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Ja, jeg skal tage en titt på den.--Snaevar 18:26, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

translating Wikidata
[edit]Heya Snaevar :)
You signed up on the Wikidata volunteers page saying you're interested in translations. Wikidata is now in a state where it's probably ok to translate. Translations are happening on http://translatewiki.net. Let me know if you have any issues/questions. Thanks for helping with that!
Cheers LydiaPintscher (talk) 15:41, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
I have translated all the messages and I am planning to keep the translation compleation level at 100% as long as I am intrested in the project, or when development of Wikidata ends, whatever comes first.--Snaevar (talk) 15:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Perfect. Thank you! That's really awesome. I'll try to track translations more closely. --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk) 16:33, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Wikidata interwiki to Wikidata transition
[edit]Hi!
You signed up on Wikidata/Volunteers to help with the Interwiki to Wikidata transition. I wanted to get back to you about that. Have you already tried the demo? We are getting closer to an initial roll-out on the first Wikipedia and it'd be great if you could give it a try. Please do let me know about any problems you encounter. Thanks for your help :)
Cheers
Lydia
Yes, I have tried the demo. Since I will mainly transit interwiki links to Wikidata via bot, there is one technical condition, making pywikipedia compatible with Wikidata.--Snaevar (talk) 15:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok cool. I _think_ someone is working on that but not entirely sure. --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk) 16:34, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

New option on interproject links
[edit]Hi, thanks for participating in the RFC for interproject links. There is a new option that might be interesting to explore. Please check Dropdown next to title 1 and Dropdown next to title 2. They are part of Option 5.--Micru (talk) 14:30, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Invitation
[edit]Hello, Snaevar,
I am contacting you because you have left feedback about VisualEditor at pages like mw:VisualEditor/Feedback in the past. The Editing team is now asking for your help with VisualEditor. Please tell them what they need to change to make VisualEditor work well for you. The team has a list of top-priority problems, but they also want to hear about small problems. These problems may make editing less fun, take too much of your time, or be as annoying as a paper cut. The Editing team wants to hear about and try to fix these small things, too.
You can share your thoughts by clicking this link. You may respond to this quick, simple, anonymous survey in your own language. If you take the survey, then you agree your responses may be used in accordance with these terms. This survey is powered by Qualtrics and their use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.
More information (including a translatable list of the questions) is posted on wiki at mw:VisualEditor/Survey 2015. If you have questions, or prefer to respond on-wiki, then please leave a message on the survey's talk page.
Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 17:40, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
2016 Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Hi,
You’re getting this message because you participated in the 2015 Community Wishlist Survey and we want to make sure you don't miss it this year – or at least can make the conscious choice to ignore if it you want to. The 2015 survey decided what the Community Tech team should work on during 2016. It was also the focus of Wikimedia hackathons and work by other developers. You can see the status of wishes from the 2015 wishlist at 2015 Community Wishlist Survey/Results.
The 2016 Community Wishlist Survey is now open for wishes. You can create proposals until November 20. You will be able to vote on which wishes you think are best or most important between November 28 and December 12. /Johan (WMF) (talk) via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 11:17, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
The Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Hi,
You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.
You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!
18:26, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!

Thank you for your support!
[edit]Hello, Snævar: We wanted to THANK YOU for expressing your support in our grant application to develop Web2Cit: Visual Editor for Citoid Web Translators and for volunteering to take part in the project. We have great news to share: our proposal has been approved! In the following weeks, we will be processing some paperwork and refining our next steps for this project. We aim to give updates so you can follow the development of the project and you can understand when and how you can contribute! But for now, we wanted to thank you and invite you to celebrate with us! Both Diegodlh and myself are very thankful for your support. --Scann (talk) 12:42, 2 June 2021 (UTC) |
Call for Advisory Board members for Web2Cit
[edit]Hello, Snævar:
With Diegodlh we are inviting people to apply to be an Advisory Board member. Is this you? Is this someone you know? Check the Call for members and apply to be an Advisory Board member before August 6th! If you are too busy this time around to apply, don't worry: we get it. You can also help us by spreading the word! We sincerely appreciate it. --Scann (talk) 22:32, 20 July 2021 (UTC) |
