Import gadgets from enwiktionary to fawiktionary

Status:    Not done

Hello, I was fixing on the fa:hello, and during the comparing between the hello and the fa:hello, I see Show/Hide Toggles for header Template:trans-top in fawiktionary is disable.

In Template:trans-top because the following two gadgets is enable for everyone by default, Toggles in header of Template:trans-top is displayed.

I have a request that a admin import MediaWiki:Gadget-VisibilityToggles.js and MediaWiki:Gadget-defaultVisibilityToggles.js to MediaWiki:Gadget-VisibilityToggles.js and MediaWiki:Gadget-defaultVisibilityToggles.js , and so add required configs for definitions these two gadget from en:definition to fa:definition.

@Beginneruser: Just a quick message to let you know we've seen this 🙂 if you don't hear back from Ahmad252, a global interface administrator can take a look at this if there is sufficient local consensus — TNT (talk • she/her) 20:39, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
My sincere apologies for the delay. For some reason, I didn't get an email notification until after TheresNoTime's ping. I'll check right away. Thanks for your patience and for notifying me! Ahmadtalk 21:02, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Please delete en:User:DavidZD97/sandbox per en-wiki speedy deletion criterion U5 with the following rationale: [[WP:U5|U5]]: [[WP:NOTWEBHOST|Misuse of Wikipedia as a web host]]. The page has over 5000 revisions and gave me an error message when I attempted to delete it. Thanks in advance. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 04:23, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

Unlocking user modification for IP 193.54.180.221 (talk · contribs) on English Wikipedia

Status:    Not done

Hello, This IP has been checkuser-blocked on English Wikipedia – this is in fact a university proxy used by several people, the account Hector Lamoustache (talk · contribs) sometimes use it also. The problem is that registered users are also blocked. I mailed the blocking admin but with no results (that was weeks ago). Thank you Hector Lamoustache (talk) 11:54, 9 January 2023 (UTC)

You can contact their checkusers for appeal using w:en:Wikipedia:Unblock Ticket Request System. — xaosflux Talk 15:24, 9 January 2023 (UTC)

Account linking problem between Wikipedia and Wikidata

Status:    Not done

Hello, I have a Wikimedia account link problem.

I created a Wikidata account that I wanted independent of my Wikipedia account. So the two do not have the same nicknames.

The problem this causes is that when I connect to my Wikidata account, it stays connected with the same Wikidata account on Wikipedia instead of it being my other account.

Example: my account A connects to Wikipedia. I switch to Wikidata to make an edit. I have to connect to Wikidata, I do it with my account B. Then as soon as I come back to Wikipedia, account A is disconnected and account B appears. Or even sometimes, it's being offline that it changes.

I would like to know if it is possible to prevent this automatic connection. If this is not possible, to link Wikipedia account A and account B to the same Wikimedia account of account A. I will then tell you my two accounts. Thanks in advance ! --Famacito (talk) 14:11, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

@Famacito You can use this funktion https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/containers 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 14:45, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
Do you have another way to solve this problem? Famacito (talk) 22:20, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
Use two browsers (which is pretty much what the containers do internally). The reason behind this is the single user login system, which tried to ensure as much as possible that you are logged in everywhere with one account.
If you have some technical knowledge: Check the cookies and the networking tab of your browser tools when this happens; the way single user login is implemented should be easy to spot. You can then hack your browser to break that flow.
But from an user (or steward) perspective, the only reasonable solution is to split your browsers (either via containers/profiles, or by using totally separate browsers). Martin Urbanec (talk) 22:48, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
